Zootopia, an animated Disney movie that was released earlier in the year 2016 has been on my ‘must watch’ movie list because I am fond of animated movies.
When I got done with watching the movie, I took back a lot more than just the experience of watching an animated movie.
It was a movie I could relate to and connect with like no other movie before. It had moved me so much that I had experienced way too many emotions in those 108 minutes of the movie duration.
For the children it might be just another animated movie, but for the adults, it is way more than that.
So, what is the movie Zootopia all about you ask?
Well… From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde, a wily fox who makes her job even harder. Eventually their team work and quick thinking helps them crack the case together and Zootopia was back to being the happiest place for all the animals!
Keeping the story line aside the movie, Zootopia teaches you those long forgotten lessons of life which we need to at least now remember for our own good.
What did I learn from Zootopia?
Lesson 1: If you dare to dream, you got to work hard to make your dream a reality. That’s the stage 1 of your challenge.
lesson 2: The stage 2 of you challenge begins when you go against the wind and become what you wanted to be. But how you sustain being there will make all the difference.
Lesson 3: If you have decided to take the path less travelled by others, then just remember one thing… DO NOT GIVE UP!
Lesson 4: Do not stereotype others. That is just not right! how would you feel if you were stereotyped too?
Lesson 5: Do not judge people without knowing them well. No, don’t even make the mistake of judging them by their religion or the caste they belong to.
Lesson 6: Bullying can leave a scar in the mind of the children and this unhealthy activity has to be stopped. You have no clue how many lives get destroyed just because of bullying.
Lesson 7: HARD WORK + DETERMINATION = SUCCESS
Lesson 8: Never judge a book by its cover.
Lesson 9: Be kind and you will receive kindness in return.
Lesson 10: If we want this world to be a better place, then we first got to change ourselves before changing others. The change begins with us!
Lesson 11: One needs to be a team player. Not all the tasks can be accomplished alone.
Lesson 12: Never underestimate one’s capability of doing any task. Everyone deserves a fair chance of proving themselves.
Lesson 13: The good will always wins over evil… This just doesn’t happen in reel life, but in real life too.
Lesson 14: At times you might fail, but that shouldn’t stop you from achieving your goal. Work harder and get back into the arena and accomplish what you wanted to.
The last and the most important lesson…
